Brief Overview
I'm a top Silicon Valley Realtor who's highly experienced (full time since early 1993). A second-generation Realtor, I grew up in Santa Clara and Saratoga, learning the ropes from my mother at an early age. I enjoy my work and the clients I'm able to assist in buying or selling homes here in the San Jose area. To me it is very important to constantly strive for excellence and to always put my clients' best interest first.
My office is in downtown Los Gatos and my home is in the Belwood neighborhood in east Los Gatos (near the Cambrian and Almaden Valley borders - I have a little website just for that area, BelwoodOfLosGatos.com). I work all over Santa Clara County, and sometimes in adjacent counties too, but most of my emphasis is in the "west valley" areas such as Los Gatos, Saratoga, Almaden Valley, Cambrian Park, Campbell, and Monte Sereno.
Most of my business is from repeat or referral clients or one of my websites or blogs or other internet presence. In 2011 I was named "the best real estate agent in Silicon Valley" by the San Jose Mercury News in its annual vote for the Best of Silicon Valley. I am uniquely good at web marketing and blogging with results that can put my clients' homes literally on page one of Google. I'm an education junkie. I love to write and co-authored a book. Blogging works for me as I really enjoy sharing what I know and putting it into writing; I'm nationally known for my blogs and that makes it fun and also a good way to "meet" people relocating here. At least once a year I am asked to present to other Realtors and real estate professionals on the topic of blogging and social media.
I am happily married to my best friend, Jim Handy. He and I have two wonderful kids who are both in college at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. In my free time I enjoy keeping in touch with family and friends, taking walks in our neighborhood and nearby park (Belgatos Park) with our black lab, taking photos and travelling when possible.
